Biography

Maisy’s voice is warm and genuine with some gorgeous Gen Z flair.
She can tap into teenage angst, be cool and detached or express her current natural habitat of a deep-thinking uni student.

Maisy has loads of experience. From starring in the titular role of Alice Miranda in two feature films, to voicing major TV and radio campaigns, the Health 4 Life educational series and audiobooks.

She has great creative instincts honed by years of acting training and takes direction like the pro she is.

Maisy can also handle (and actually enjoys) long corporate scripts and can laugh on cue!

Reviews

Maisy is a pleasure to work with. I have worked with her many times and I have seen her grow, as a human and as a voice artist. Maisy is professional, talented and creative, knowing exactly what to do with the direction passed on to her from the creative. I look forward to working with her in the future and throughout what will no doubt be a stellar career in voice-over. Cameron Milne, Squeak E Clean

Maisy Wright-Smith was cast as Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones, a tough role which required heart, intelligence, curiosity, kindness and stamina. Maisy was able to take direction and offer insightful and spontaneous choices in the line reads and came to each session with a positive and open attitude ready to be challenged and learn. It was important to have a very likeable, authentic and bright character for Alice Miranda and Maisy was able to do that, and add delight as well. Jo Boag, SLR Productions

It was great to work with Maisy yesterday! Maisy was such a professional and a delight to work with, despite the awkwardness of Source Connect / group of people on Teams sessions. The client absolutely loved the result, so thank you again! Maisy, I hope to work with you again soon! Andy Stewart, Sonar Music

I have just completed a huge project with Maisy & can report that she has the voice of a child but the skills of an adult. She had to be the kid narrator plus a whole heap of characters including a wolf, a horse & a grumpy bear which she did seamlessly. Maisy has a great confidence behind a microphone & I recommend her without hesitation Greg Crittenden, Take 2
