Main Compilation

Matt is a well known actor in his native New Zealand, best known for his role as the scurrilous and womanising surgeon Dr. Isaac Worthington on the hit soap Shortland Street; later playing the complicated – but much nicer! – lawyer, Simon Frost in the award winning drama The Blue Rose which won an international television award for best Drama. He’s had roles on local soap Home and Away and the Aussie sci-fi feature Infini. Matt’s recent stage work has included the acclaimed Silo production of Angels in America, The Red Line Productions Sydney Theatre Award nominated COCK (excuse the title), and The Pride for Darlinghurst Theatre.

Matt definitely has split allegiances when it comes to which side of the Tasman his loyalty lies¬†– thanks mainly to an Aussie Grandfather born an’ bred in Balmain – but ok, when it comes to the All Blacks? That’s a no brainer. Regardless, he’s always felt right at home this side of the ditch.

  1. Matt is great to work with. He listens to and delivers on direction given and is really consistent in his performances. Matt also has great comedic timing and a solid range of different vocal tones.

  2. Matt’s acting background allows him to take your script down any path. Couple this with the his ability to take direction and we can see why he is such a sort after Voice Over Talent.
