BIOGRAPHY

Mabel is an actor and musician based in Melbourne and has performed on stages since she was 11 years old.

She has trained extensively with the Australian Shakespeare Company since 2011 and in 2019 travelled with their Graduate Players ensemble to Prague performing at the Prague Fringe Festival. There she went on to study acting with the Prague Shakespeare Company.

Her voice spans from youthful, warm and dreamy to friendly, bright and bubbly. Her wealth of experience in the studio recording voice overs, vocals for a breadth of musical genres as well as two full length studio albums has made her a true professional in the booth, delivering nuanced and lively reads.

Mabel is one half of the award-winning sister duo Charm of Finches and has been performing and recording original chamber folk music since 2014, touring nationally and internationally and winning numerous awards for her music and song-writing, including, most recently Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album at the 2020 IMAs (Independent Music Awards, NY). Her songs have also been featured on ABC’s Mustangs FC. She teaches songwriting, has played the cello for 9 years and is also composer for film and theatre –  commissioned for her piece Confluence by Arts Centre Melbourne in 2020.
