Biography
Josh graduated from the International Screen Academy in 2017, and made his stage debut the same year, as a lead role in Sydney University Dramatic Society’s Gaslight.
During his first show, his left leg shook uncontrollably and he choked on biscuits during the second act.
It was one of the funniest nights of his life.
Since then, Josh has appeared in over 20 plays, including Belvoir 25a’s Who’s Afraid, and Redline Productions’ A Streetcar Named Desire at The Old Fitz.
Josh has also filmed on-screen roles in Prosper (2023), Paper Dolls (2023), C*A*U*G*H*T (2024) and the AACTA-nominated feature Sequin in a Blue Room (2019).
When he’s not acting (which is most of the time, let’s be real folks, we’re all friends here), Josh is making absurd sketch comedy on social media.
His goal is to bring his overactive thoughts to life, and by making fun of them, help others feel seen and understood. But mainly it’s just to be funny.
Finally, Josh loves writing about himself and his career in the third person. Josh loves that and is very comfortable with it.
He also wants you to know that he’s really good at Maths, but no one ever asks him about it.
He wishes someone would bring up the topic of Maths if they see him in the street.
