Biography
Ruby Ballantyne is an actor and contemporary dancer based on Gadigal Country (Sydney). Since graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance), Ruby has danced, performed, and choreographed in Australia and Europe. Eager to broaden her practice, Ruby further honed her skills by completing the Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
A versatile and passionate performer, Ruby brings over 20 years of diverse dance experience to her acting, enhancing her ability to connect with her characters. Ruby’s deep understanding of movement and expression enriches her performances, showcasing her awareness of self and the emotional nuances of each role.
