Nikos is a comedy specialist with several decades’ acting experience on screen and stage. After getting his start in the sketch comedy series The Ronnie Johns Half Hour (Network 10), he’s gone on to longer-form roles such as the FX/Disney+ series Sweatland (where he played the lead opposite Emmy Award winner Tony Hale) and the Hulu series Psychotown (where he played multiple roles).

Like all good journeyman comic actors, Nikos has inexplicably acted opposite all kinds of Australian luminaries including Barry Otto, Marcus Graham, Geoff Morrell, Tara Maurice and Holly Valance. He’s also acted opposite his own grandmother, his dog, and people who didn’t know they were being filmed at the time. All these experiences inform Nikos’ X factor screen presence. What will he do next? (I mean, he’ll do what’s in the script, but in a really awesome and funny way).

Nikos is also a busy TV writer, director and producer in his own right, so he often manages to have some grasp of what people are trying to achieve when they’re directing him as an actor. Many have found this helpful. Some have been more measured in their appreciation, but deep down he knows they were into it.
