Julian Pulvermacher

Biography

Julian’s performance career spans theatre, television, and film. He began his professional journey in theatre productions of Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, The Crucible, and The Merchant of Venice. He both directed and performed in The Real Inspector Hound and captivated audiences as the French-accented Big Bad Wolf in a children’s musical adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood, earning rave reviews. His dynamic range shone again in the original Sydney workshop production of Atomic – The Musical, followed by a successful run in Chekhov’s The Seagull as Yevgeny Sergeyevich Dorn with Hurrah Hurrah Productions.

Film and TV drama productions have included performances in Just Nuisance (SATV), The Cure (ZDF Germany), Catching Milat (Channel 7) and the German-speaking Oskar Weber in Wolf Creek Season 2 (Stan Originals). His film credits include Love Me, Leave Me (UK), A Slice of Dream (Blue Award at the London Amateur Film Festival), Floating Life (Hibiscus Films/Australia), and Superman Returns (Warner Bros), with exposure internationally.

He has also appeared in a variety of television commercials and is well known for as an on-camera presenter, with appearances for a wide range of high profile corporate, professional and industrial clients. A mother-tongue English speaker, he also speaks German and Afrikaans, as well as some French, Italian and Spanish.
