Coco Yamaguchi

Biography

Coco was born to an Australian mother and a Japanese father, growing up between Sydney and Tokyo. She began her performing arts career as a ballerina, completing her advanced training with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and performing with the Victorian State Youth Ballet. Coco also competed in numerous dance competitions over 10 years. Over time, Coco developed a passion for acting and storytelling, which led her to study drama during her school years. She then performed with the Opera Australia in ‘Madama Butterfly’ and took on the role of Ally in the 2023 short film ‘Ally’. In 2024, Coco was accepted into NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art), completing a Diploma in Stage and Screen Performance (2024).
