Lucy Forge has had a lot of fun deciding what she wants to be. A child with stars in her eyes and a fabulous dress up box, she spent many years on stage or in front of a camera, showing off and making a general nuisance of herself, while also making a small fortune by taking out every single Speech and Drama entry at all the local eisteddfods. For many years she satisfied her inner Bossy Boots by writing, directing, producing and staring in all manner of productions.
She was heavily involved in the performing arts scene at Melbourne University where she studied a Bachelor of Creative Arts, directing a number of musicals, a play for the Melbourne Comedy Festival and performing in many productions and short films that ranged from Shakespeare to Tennessee Williams to a top 10 Project Greenlight entry and some avant garde performance art with raw chickens (which she still doesn’t really get).
Out in the big bad world however, Lucy decided that being an actress was a lot more Unemployed and a lot less Artistic Fulfillment than it was cracked up to be, so spent a few years traveling the world and working as a waitress/telemarketer/mystery shopper, while she found herself (along with an addiction to travel, too much beer and talking crap to interesting strangers – perfect experience for being an agent.)
She has worked as a casting consultant for RMK since September 2006 and relishes the craziness, fast paced fun and challenges that juggling a day at RMK involves. She finds the wonderful artists she represents a constant source of laughter, frustration and inspiration. In 2008 Lucy relocated to Melbourne, where she continues to work as a consultant and manager for RMK Melbourne while pursuing her studies in journalism, media and PR.
