Pia Miranda has worked extensively in film, theatre and television over the past 18 years. Her acting career began after graduating from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Arts in performance and dance. Pia also studied speech, drama and movement at the prestigious Atlantic Theatre Company in New York.

Pia’s most memorable performance to date was the title role in the much loved film Looking for Alibrandi for which she won an AFI Award for best actress. Her other film credits include Garage Days, Travelling Light , the award-winning The Girl who Swallowed Bees , The Tender Hook, Three Blind Mice, Surviving Georgia and Goddess.

Pia has worked on TV shows such as Neighbours, All Saints, The Secret Life of Us, Grass Roots and Sea Patrol. Her theatre credits are just as impressive having worked with The Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company, Ensemble Theatre, State Theatre Company of South Australia and Glen St Theatre.

Pia has worked extensively in voiceovers for the past 12 years and is a regular on MTV. She has a versatile and likeable voice that is suited for anything from soft sell to retail and conversational reads are her specialty. Pia's laid back and friendly attitude makes her a joy to work with and her years of experience as an actor means that she loves taking direction and brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism with her at all times.
