It's a fact: Damian Nicholas uses his voice almost every day of his life.
Born just north of Manchester in the UK (so yes, he can do the accent if need be), Damian fell into the world of media at an early age.

Making the permanent move to Melbourne in 1993 and working as a spruiker in shopping centres, Damian honed his skills with a microphone and warmly welcomed the advances of many a poorly-educated heckler. He's now a man of many voices. Actually many, many voices..

He's hosted instore appearances for authors, TV and music stars as diverse as Bryce Courtenay, Jamie Durie, The Wiggles, Dannii Minogue and Elmo and has been the MC for Highpoint Shopping Centre's popular "Star Search" talent quest for five years, harbouring a secret desire to actually enter and moreover win it.

He was also invited by Granada producers to be the audience-warm up man for what to this date remains the highest-rating season of Dancing With The Stars (7 Network).

Now a professional voiceover artist, Damian has lent his voice to Red Rooster's national TV campaigns, his face to a totally erotic Autobarn commercial (2002), and more voice to radio spots for Moonee Valley Racing, Easy Living Furniture, George Foreman and Russell Hobbs. More recently, his voice has been found on campaigns for Crazy John's, Pods, Telstra Next G and Pitos.

Though he knows very little about the sport itself, apart from the odd case of dribbling, he also provides his vocal services to FIBA World Basketball, narrating the weekly half-hour TV show aired in more than 160 countries (ESPN in Australia), and to The Scene, a weekly film/music news TV show, aired domestically on Foxtel's Ovation channel.

In 2007, Damian made his on-screen TV debut, co-hosting another program called The Scene, shown nationally on the Nine Network.

Damian Nicholas possesses an extraordinary range of character voices, a love of making people laugh, a model bus collection that has to be seen to be believed and, on occasion, loves to travel to exotic locations with seemingly dirty names such as Pakenham Upper.

Now at the age of 35, he still has no idea what he wants to be when he (finally) grows up.
