Cymone Rose has be doing voice overs professionally for over 10 years. Her background as an actor has laid the groundwork for some of Australia's most successful TV campaigns.
She is known for her versatility, from that 'person off the street' natural read, to Paris Hilton, then warm Mumsy, sexy chick with attitude, to mature corporate informative, or a bubbly bright 20 something, and she’s renowned for her incredibly authentic accents – (US, UK, NZ, Swedish, French, etc) and her extensive range of fun animated character voices.
After spending over 12 months in the States acting, she then came back home to finish studies for her Bachelor Degree in Acting at QUT (Queensland).
She moved straight into a professional acting career, touring the musical Chicago, and acting in various other theatre venues in Brisbane, (La Boite, Arts Theatre, Twelfth Night Theatre). She then worked as an announcer / producer / creative writer / voice actor for Austereo in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Sydney, perfecting her many character voices for various radio sketches. Channel 7's Movie Review show Popcorn also enlisted her as a TV presenter.
From theatre actress, to radio and TV host, when she arrived in Sydney, it was an easy step into more TV. She played the lead character of @Girl on Nickelodeon's TV series of the same name. Over almost 3 years at 'Nick', she also hosted 3 of their other shows... What's the word, S'Arvo and The Big Help News.
Focusing back on her love of acting, she made a dream come true by acting onstage at the world famous Sydney Opera House for Ensemble Theatre, and still manages to find time to make guest appearances on shows like Channel 9’s smash hit TV series “Underbelly”.
Cymone recently featured on the Hamish and Andy show when they called her to see if she'd go on a date with Hamish. Cymone (as Vodafones Lara) on Hamish and Andy
