Chances are you’ve probably heard Corey’s voice at some stage…. He has a unique, young, cool sounding voice as comfortable playing the part of an excitable teenager or a casual 30 something exec.
Corey earned his voiceover and voice acting stripes the old fashion way.… That is, countless hours spent in the studio and in front of the camera (and the mirror).
Once abused by Pierce Brosnan and beaten up by the little kid from Hanson, Corey started out at TTFM as Captain Turntable, where he picked up an Australian Commercial Radio Award for Best Newcomer On-Air in 2000. Corey went on to be a part of the launch of both Nova Sydney and Melbourne.
After interviewing the likes of Justin Timberlake, Beyonce Knowles, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Paris Hilton, Corey moved behind the scenes to become the Promotions Manager of Programming, later producing the breakfast show, Hughesy, Kate & Dave.
In 2006 Corey went travelling, spending a moment in David Hasselhoff’s hotel room (odd!) and working in London as the Commercial Programme Controller across the XFM, Choice and Gold networks. While in London he also voiced Total Rugby, a weekly TV show broadcast to over 130 countries.
Since returning in 2009, Corey’s been with Austereo Melbourne as both the Creative Solutions Director and the Fifi Box Show Producer.
