Since 2001 Cecelia has been working behind a mic, doing voiceovers and on-air as an announcer and she loves it!

When it comes to TV and Radio advertising, Cecelia has had a wide range of success with client campaigns, including Mazda, Myer, GRL mobile, Country Racing Victoria, Mattel, Clairol, Fernwood Fitness, Boost Juice and Nandos to name just a few.

Cecelia has been training in Voice and Drama over the past 5 years and as part of her training attended the 2009 VASTA (Voice and Speech Teachers of America) conference in New York where she had the amazing opportunity to learn techniques from some of the world’s leading Vocal Teachers including Patsy Rodenberg and Kristen Linklater.

As well as advertising campaigns Cecelia also has experience in narrating corporate videos, podcasts and presentations for ANZ, Telstra, Mattel and NAB and has voiced radio promos for both the Triple M and 2Day networks around the country since 2003.

Cecelia played the characters Tabby and Auntie Dott in the series ‘Sumo Mouse’, which airs on Network Ten and the ABC this year and will also be broadcast in Malaysia and Canada.

Voice acting is a real passion for her, she’s currently recording a new series to be screened on Channel 9. ‘Flea-bitten’ is the tale of a Puppy and his Flea buddy.
Cecelia is loving the chance to play around ten different female characters, including French poodles and fleas, German scientists and mangy cats from the Bronx.

Over the years she’s taken part in radio sketches with some of radio’s finest including Hamish and Andy, Tony Martin plus various other shows on the Triple M and 2Day networks.

Cecelia can take a script and get the most out of it quickly and easily. She has a fantastic grasp of accents, with a good ear and technical knowledge of how to create them. She is versatile, warm and easy to work with, and enjoys the collaboration required in the studio.

From a rough Aussie twang, a sophisticated polished sell, a saucy French accent, or a grumpy old grandma. She’ll tackle whatever scenario you have.

Cecelia also enjoys hosting the Australian music show ‘Australian 1st’ broadcast on the 2Day network Sunday nights and acting when she has time, most recently in ‘The Librarians Season 2’, or the Comedy show ‘The White Room’ on Channel 7.
