Cathy Godbold began her career as an actor in the ABC miniseries More Winners at the age of 16. She then entered the voiceover world and has enjoyed regular work ever since. At 17 she won a place at the prestigious Victoria College of the Arts on a singing scholarship, and studied musical theatre, along with drama and dance. Cathy’s acting began in full swing when she was cast as Nikki Taylor in Channel 9’s Chances.
After a year she moved to Home and Away and stayed on with the 7 Network for roles on Hey Dad, Blue Heelers and Newlyweds. Cathy also loves working in theatre and has enjoyed touring the country with shows for the STC and MTC. Her most recent role was in the ABC’s Saddle Club series, which is a world wide hit!
In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing and annoying her agent about upcoming work.
