Specializing in what he calls the “anti-voiceover,” Andrew’s natural, sincere, opinionated delivery gives enormous credibility to products targeted to a marketing savvy public. Combine this with his smoky tone and the result is one of the most sought after voice for big brand advertising in Australian television. In the past few years Andrew has voiced major campaigns for most of the big telcos, banks, cars and fast food chains and his intense ‘bullshit-free’ expression has him a favourite for the big charities and anti-smoking campaigns for the state and federal governments. Andrew is also the voice of The Lifestyle Channel as well as being highly sought after for corporate production.

But Don’t be fooled. Andrew can pull out anything from ridiculous characters to hard core retail- and regularly does for bands such as Gold Lotto (Qld)

He celebrates his 21st year in the entertainment industry performing in theatre, film and TV in Australia and the US. Back in 1995 he received an acting scholarship in New York. Whilst over there sinking his teeth in voiceovers (in American accent and mid-Atlantic as well as English and Australian) he performed Off-Broadway, co-founded The Working Group Theater Company and later wrote, directed, produced and starred in the film “Tripwire”. During his last year in New York (2000), Andrew became the presenter and host of the extreme sports show “X-Style”, for the ESPN sports network. Oh… he wanted us to mention that while at drama school in New York he married Paige Walker- one of our American voices at RMK.

Andrew is also called upon by ad agencies and TV networks to direct and consult on voiceovers. He has his own teaching company (thebizofshowbiz.com) and tours the country with weekend intensive seminars in voiceover performance as well as teaching voiceovers at NIDA.
